FOR THE POOR

The "For the Poor" forum is a message board for those who, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, know themselves to be poor wretched sinners in need of a Savior. Not destitute of this worlds goods but destitute of any personal righteousness we might claim that would in any way commend us to God. We claim only the righteousness of Jesus Christ Who has made us heirs to the Kingdom of God.

"Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 5:3

For the Poor is a moderated forum, and while we lay down no "law", all members are expected to use discretion according to scriptural principles of conduct when posting messages or replying to messages of other members.

"Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers."
Ephesians 4:29
